Application Form Gamification
One of the challenges Neighborhood Lender faced was getting potential clients to complete the online application form. In order to provide users with free quotes, they needed to complete an online form that collected basic information from the user. However, filling out all of the required information often became tedious to users so a large percentage of them would never end of completing the online application.
In order to encourage users to complete the online applications, Neighborhood Lender worked with UNION to develop a strategy to encourage users to finish the applications once they hard started them.
"We developed a way to gamify the online application process," says Chris Jones, UNION's Vice President of Strategy. "We split up the fields across multiple pages and created a way for users to actually see their progress."
The results of this application form gamification was that users did not feel as overwhelmed and were more motivated to complete the entire application.
